Use Customer Pulse and Activity

Understand why a customer needs attention, manage durable follow-up work, and read the authoritative customer activity timeline.

Customer CRM adds operational context to Customers without replacing the schedule. Open a customer to find Customer Pulse near the appointment summary and Activity after the actionable schedule content.

Read Customer Pulse

Each Pulse item names a deterministic reason and shows the facts that support it. Reasons include payment due, a quote waiting for an answer, no future appointment, a recurring schedule gap, a missing contact method, an incomplete property, or a possible duplicate.

Pulse is not a relationship score. It does not infer sentiment or invent a timestamp. Choose the primary action to open the supporting invoice, quote, appointment, property, or duplicate workflow.

Turn attention into follow-up work

An owner can create a durable follow-up from a Pulse reason or add one manually. A follow-up can have an assignee and due time. You can:

  • complete it with an outcome;
  • snooze it until a specific time;
  • dismiss a suggestion with a reason; or
  • reopen completed or dismissed work.

Completing a task does not pretend the underlying condition disappeared. Paying an invoice or booking an appointment resolves that condition from its authoritative record. Snoozing or dismissing only changes the work queue.

Communication actions respect the selected contact's channel, do-not-contact state, opt-outs, invalid or bounced channels, and quiet hours. Asking the device to open its call, text, or email composer records initiated, never opened, sent, or delivered. A later manual outcome remains clearly operator-entered.

Read Activity

Activity combines supported appointment, quote, invoice, payment, communication, follow-up, profile, archive, and merge events. Times render in the business timezone. Use category filters for a long history and Show older activity for stable pagination.

An item appears only when Cleanr has a stored authoritative timestamp. Select an item to open its source record. A deleted source remains an explicit historical state rather than a broken link.

Use Needs Attention

On web, choose Needs attention in Customer smart views. On mobile, open Customer CRM and choose Attention. Counts and rows come from the same server rules, so a view count should equal the displayed result set.

If the queue fails to load, refresh before acting from memory. Pulse and Activity do not use PostHog as operational truth.
