Complete, skip, or reopen an appointment
Choose the correct Cleanr Session status action and understand the invoice impact before restoring or reopening work.
Use the status action that matches what happened: complete finished work, skip a Session that will not happen, restore a skipped Session, or reopen completed work that needs correction.
| Situation | Supported action |
|---|---|
| Work is finished | Complete the Session |
| This occurrence will not happen | Skip this Session |
| A skipped occurrence should return | Restore the skipped Session on web |
| Completed work needs correction | Reopen the completed Session on web as an owner |
| An in-progress iPhone Session was started by mistake | Use Reset Job? to return it to scheduled |
Complete the Session
- Open the Session from Schedule.
- On its scheduled day, select Complete and invoice.
- Review the resulting invoice and take the appropriate send or payment action.
The action is disabled before the scheduled day. Web completion does not provide the iPhone start timer and field-proof workflow.
- Start the scheduled Session with Slide to Start.
- Complete its checklist and before-and-after photo requirements.
- Use Slide to Complete.
- If you are the owner, review the billing step. Depending on the amount and payment setup, it can offer Charge & Send Receipt, Send Invoice, Skip Invoice, or a finish action for zero-dollar work.
A Cleaner cannot bypass missing checklist or photo warnings. An owner can explicitly override warnings, but unresolved loading, pending, or failed proof can still block completion. Do not assume that completing as a Cleaner creates, sends, or charges an invoice.
Skip or restore a Session
Open the Session and select Skip appointment. This skips the selected occurrence; it does not cancel the recurring Appointment. To put that skipped occurrence back on the schedule, open it and select Restore appointment.
The currently verified Skip Session action is visible only to owners. Cleanr has an owner setting named Staff can skip sessions, but the verified release does not provide a Cleaner-facing skip control. Do not depend on a Cleaner performing this action.
Reopen completed work on the web
Only an owner can reopen a completed Session in the verified web flow.
- Open the completed Session and select Reopen appointment.
- Read the invoice warning before confirming.
- If its linked invoice is unpaid, confirming voids that invoice and returns the Session to scheduled.
- If its linked invoice is paid, Cleanr blocks the reopen. Use How to refund →, refund the customer first, then return and try again.
- Confirm the Session is scheduled again before editing or completing it.
The iPhone Reset Job? action applies to an in-progress Session and returns it to scheduled. It is not a way to reopen a completed Session. Use the owner-only web reopen flow for completed work.
